The natural material loden is the heart of our campfire clothing and is the basis for its extraordinary properties. Loden is made from milled sheep's wool and is naturally wind-resistant, water-repellent and temperature-regulating. These properties make loden the perfect choice for life around the campfire.
But loden offers even more than that: thanks to its structure, it is not only less susceptible to flying sparks, but also has a higher resistance to flames than traditional outdoor materials. Should a spark occur, loden chars instead of melting or burning severely, which provides valuable time to get to safety. Additionally, loden is odor-resistant and extremely durable. The milled sheep's wool fibers form a dense structure that makes the fabric resistant to wear and tear and dirt.
