Apple Cinnamon Rolls | The Petromax Recipe
The ideal cakes for when you’re out and about fit in one hand. These apple cinnamon rolls are sure to be snatched out of your hands before you know it. Luckily they are quick to make and a hit all year round. We’ll show you how to make the best Apple Cinnamon Rolls in the world quickly and easily in the Petromax muffin tin.
- 1 medium apple
- 3 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 packet of puff pastry

- Preheat the Dutch oven. Core the apple and cut into small pieces. Mix the melted butter with sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll out the puff pastry and brush with the sugar and cinnamon mixture. Leave around 1 cm free all around the edge.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured work surface and knead again, then form into a loaf shape. Put the loaf into the greased Loaf Pan, close the lid and bake for a good 30 minutes.
- Grease the holes in the muffin tin and place a piece in each. Bake in the Dutch oven for 15 to 20 minutes, leave to cool briefly in the tin and serve when still warm.
