Flat Bowl 25 cm Olive Wood

What makes the Flat Bowl made of olive wood the versatile tool for outdoor cooking:

  • Versatile Flat Bowl at 25 cm long: for serving and ladling
  • Hand-made in Germany
  • Conserves resources as made from olive trees that are no longer harvestable
  • Highly durable due to oil wax finish, food-safe
  • Practical leather loop for hanging

The versatile bowl made of olive wood – for every adventure

The Petromax Flat Bowl is your versatile tableware for fuss-free bushcraft experiences. You can use the Flat Bowl in a variety of ways – as a spoon, bowl, serving dish or ladle. The handle protects you from the heat of the meal or pan, while the well is big enough to serve food foraged fresh from the forest or to use as a ladle or a bushcraft plate when dining around the campfire. The bowl is made of olive wood from genuine olive trees. These olive trees are felled when they are no longer productive, making the entire life of the tree visible in the unique wood grain. With its dark grain at the centre and the lighter outer age rings, the wood is enhanced during the handcrafted process of making the product. So you have an irreplaceable utensil whenever you feel like spending time outdoors.

Olive wood bowl with handle, made in Germany

Petromax olive wood products are hand-made in Germany from the wood of the Olea europaea tree. Felling the tree late in its life means that production conserves resources. Thanks to the oil wax finish these products are highly durable and always ready for their next use outdoors. Petromax olive wood products can be attached to your belt by the leather loop or simply hang them up by your outdoor kitchen in the forest. The engraving of the Petromax logo adds a particularly fine touch to your unique product.

Caring for your olive wood bowl:

Only wash your Petromax olive wood products with gentle detergent and a small amount of water. Let the olive wood product dry thoroughly after washing and after occasionally treating it with a little olive oil. Do not expose the product to direct sunlight or high variations in temperature. Use with strongly coloured foods may also discolour the wood.

Petromax Kuksa Cup made of olive wood
Petromax Kuksa Cup made of olive wood
What makes the Petromax Kuksa made of olive wood your perfect bushcraft cup:Traditional kuksa shape for a cup with historyHand-made in GermanySustainable as made from old olive trees that have been felled Food-safe and highly durable due to oil wax finishPractical suspension through leather loop A kuksa – the traditional cup made of olive wood for every adventureThe Petromax Kuksa is a traditional wooden cup: It was used as a drinking vessel, to eat from or as a container in which to collect berries. The special feature of the Petromax Kuksa is the continuous, horizontal handle which enables you to keep a secure hold of it, sip after sip. You can attach the Kuksa to your belt or rucksack by the leather loop, so it is always conveniently to hand. The Kuksa is the ideal item of equipment on outdoor adventures because it is so versatile. It can be used as a cup, for soup or as a serving dish – with a capacity of 200 ml you can even use it as a ladle or measuring cup. This genuine bushcraft cup is easy to use and highly durable. You will be able to enjoy it as part of your outdoor activities for many years to come. The history of the kuksa – where the bushcraft cup comes fromOriginally the owner carved their own kuksa from birch using just a few tools such as a knife and axe and added a piece of reindeer antler and a leather strap. According to tradition, the kuksa was never washed but simply rinsed in a stream or lake. The olive wood has the benefit that it is scratch-resistant, hygienic, impervious to acids and absorbs no odours – making it the ideal equipment for adventures. Due to the oil wax finish you don't have to treat the Petromax Kuksa with salt or ground coffee and can use it immediately. What makes your olive wood Kuksa so unique These kuksa cups are hand-made by Petromax in Germany from the wood of the Olea europaea tree. The olive trees are felled because the olives can no longer be harvested – making sustainable use of a resource in production. The oil wax finish applied at the end of the manufacturing process means that the cup will last for a long time and is always ready for its next use outdoors. The striking engraving of the Petromax dragon logo gives each kuksa a special touch with its very individual grain. How to care for your kuksa: You can rinse your kuksa in the traditional way using just stream water – or use gentle detergent and clean water. Dry it thoroughly after use. When required, you can apply a thin film of high-quality olive oil. Avoid direct sunlight and high variations in temperature. Highly coloured liquids such as blackberry juice or red wine may stain the kuksa. Technical details Material: olive wood with oil wax finishDimensions, approx.
