German Currywurst with Curry-Cola Sauce | The Petromax Recipe
A coke with your sausage in curry sauce – wait, just add it to the sausage please! Or, more precisely, to the sauce: This is not an accident but rather a truly great recipe. As soon as you tasted this, it will become integral to the sauce just as mineral water is to cake. We show you how to easily prepare this fruity-spicy saussage in curry sauce in the Dutch Oven Lid.
Preparation
1. Preheat the Dutch Oven lid on the grill or with 8 briquettes underneath. Roast the sausages in some oil from all sides and take them out again.
2. Chop the onions, sauté until translucent and prepare the sauce, adding the remaining ingredients. Let simmer for 30 minutes.
3. Cut the sausages into even pieces and fold into the sauce. Add some curry powder and serve, for instance with chips.
