Be well prepared for days without electricity? The Petromax kx50 cooler allows you to be self-sufficient over multi-day adventures. The ultra-passive cooling system is powered solely by commercially available ice, cold packs or dry ice. Without a compressor or absorber, the double-walled and cavity-insulated kx50 keeps ice chilled for up to 12 days!
Unbeatable advantage: The interior of the kx50 is designed in such a way that, with a volume of 50 l, up to 70 x 0.33 l cans or 20 x 1 l bottles can be stowed and transported upright. Freshly caught fish or provisions brought along also find their ideal storage place in your Petromax cooler.

Cooling system with format
The insulation layer of the Petromax cooler of at least 45 mm guarantees you the longest possible temperature stability inside when used outdoors. But that's not all: The robust PE body is so stable that you can easily use the box as an elevated seat or stand. This allows you to comfortably cast your fishing line or get an overview of your surroundings. In addition, thanks to its clear-edged design, the kx50 stacks well and can be stored in the hold or below deck. The integrated drainage system makes it easy for you to refill ice and clean the cold room later. This allows you to drain off melt water at any time - especially during use. This allows you to extend the cooling time according to your needs.

Adventure-ready handling
Particularly when cooking outdoors and working in nature, the demands on reliable equipment are high. In addition to the extremely long temperature stability, there are other features that make the Petromax cooler suitable for adventures: Recesses on the lid allow you to lash it crosswise. This allows you to safely stow your kx50 for transport on the deck of your boat or on the bed of your pick-up truck. The ergonomic carrying handles on the side can also be used as strap guides, allowing you to open the case when the load is secured. The non-slip rubber latches can be operated with one hand and you have a firm grip even with wet fingers. Reinforced locking plates in combination with a standard U-lock provide additional protection against wild animals. The four rubber feet on the bottom of the cooler ensure a firm stand and additional air circulation from below.
